Laboratory Ceramics – since 1865

Haldenwanger has been producing and optimising laboratory porcelain for over 160 years. Our large range of quality labware and our extensive delivery programme have made us known worldwide. The properties of our laboratory porcelain comply with DIN EN 60672-3, type C 110. For higher demands, we also offer laboratory items such as crucibles, plates, boxes and boats made from Alsint® 99.7 dense, Alsint® porous or Zirconium oxide.

Our Labware Range Includes:

  • Mortars: A wide range of standard mortars are available for purchase. Select from 20ml to 6,000ml capacity and specify glazed or unglazed
  • Pestles: A wide range of standard pestles are available for purchase. Select head size from 22 mm to 55 mm diameter and specify glazed or unglazed
  • Evaporating basins: available in three different variants: with spout, Form B, semi-deep; with spout, French shape and flat base; with spout, Form A, shallow
  • Incinerating dishes: available in four different variants: cylindrical, conical / rectangular, shallow, flour incinerating dishes acc. to Prof. Mohs
  • Melting crucibles: in three different variants: low shaped, tall shaped, medium-high shaped
  • Gooch crucibles: in two different variants: wide shape, tall shape
  • Filter discs: according to Dr. Witt
  • Crucible lids
  • Funnels: according to Dr. Hirsch and according to Dr. Büchner
  • Spot plates: rectangular, with 6 or 12 wells
  • Desiccator plates: with centre hole 20mm and filter holes approx. 5mm
  • Casseroles: with porcelain handle, glazed except rim

  • Graduated beaker: graduated inside, glazed except outside base
  • Ball mills: with cover, metal lock and sealing ring, glazed inside and outside (unglazed inside available upon request)
