Extrusion
Stage 1
Ceramic powders and organics are added to a special mixing device and intimately mixed together
Stage 2
The resultant mix is removed from the mixer and added to the extrusion chamber
Stage 3
A ‘ram’ eliminates air from the chamber and proceeds to extrude ceramic through shaped tooling under high pressure
