Depending on the geometry of the part being coated, the DLC layer can be applied using one of the following methods:

Ion-Beam Deposition

• Angstrom-Level Thickness Control
• Excellent Control of Optical Properties
• Electrically Insulating or Conducting Substrates

RF-Plasma Deposition

• Non-Line-of-Sight, 3-D Coating Process
• No Special Tooling or Rotation Required
• Very Fast Deposition Rates
• Electrically Conducting Substrates
• Thin, Flat electrically Insulating Substrates can be coated
