Job Title: Transducer Design Engineer
Location: Southampton (UK)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development and testing of ultrasonic (power) transducers and/or Piezo resistive transducers used for low force/pressure sensing (-0.5 - 2 bar) at very high accuracy in line with our customer’s needs
• Technical customer interfacing to establish needs and support customer
• Develop our technical core competencies to meet the needs of the business markets
• Management of Transducer Technician
• Co-ordinating external development activities that are outside on-site capabilities
• To provide technical lead in improving our manufacturing of transducers

Previous Experience

• Ability to demonstrate success at design and manufacture of piezoelectric or high accuracy, low pressure Piezo resistive devices, preferably in the medical market
• Ability to deliver technical solutions within tough timescales and to budget
