Quality Engineer
The Role – Principal Objectives:
In this hands-on position, you will coordinate Quality Systems and processes in accordance with ISO-9000 2008. Responsible for the Quality Assurance function including all inspection and calibration activities. Coordinate quality programs including document control, quality records, corrective action, vendor evaluation, calibration, inspector qualification etc. Administer internal and external audits, serving as lead auditor and primary point of contact for external auditors. Communication with operators, supervisors, technicians and other engineers is essential. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. for this position.
The Person – Key Requirements:
Must possess a four-year college degree in engineering or similar technical discipline; 5 or more year’s quality engineering experience; experience in dimensional inspection techniques; and strong communication and computer skills. ASQ Quality Engineer and Auditor certification a plus; structural ceramics experience highly desired.
