The Role – Principal Objectives:
In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing engineering or production department employees by planning and laying out project assignments and assisting when needed.
• Developing technology, improving designs and evaluating new products.
• Conducting in-depth research and analyzing technical literature and data.
• Accompanying sales staff on customer visits as a technical resource.
• Developing engineering personnel into a highly motivated team able to meet customer requirements and business needs via performance management, assessment of training and development requirements and career planning.

You must be authorized to work in the U.S. for this position.
 

The Person – Key Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics, Materials Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology or similar course of study. Graduate degree in Business or Technical disciplines desired. 5 to 10 years engineering management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent project management and communication skills a must.
