MTC Auburn has been operating since 1962 and since this time has built up considerable experience in working with high purity alumina, developing and manufacturing intricate components for a wide range of industries and applications.

In the past MTC Auburn has delivered effective alumina ceramic solutions to the medical, analytical, power generation and aerospace industries. Within the medical sphere MTC Auburn specialises in the production of blood shear valves and a variety of components used in the creation of haematology instrumentation and blood analysis equipment. Within power generation, MTC Auburn boasts 25 years experience and has worked to produce boron-carbide alumina solutions for nuclear fuel applications.

MTC Auburn offer 100% traceability of products and ISO 9001 certification and take a committed approach to the conception, design and development of prototypes. Engineers utilise the latest CAD/CAM programs and CNC equipment to work with clients, finding high performance solutions and developing prototypes which can be cost effectively scaled up to full production.

Predominately MTC Auburn utilises two materials to manufacture products to tight tolerances (up to millionths of an inch) and exacting customer specifications. These 2 materials include AL300, 97.5% Alumina and CAC995, 99.5% Alumina. As well as ceramics, production capabilities also include metalizing and brazing functions.
